The Berkel model 7 is the second model that is also assembled in Italy in the plants of the Brevetti van Berkel Italia in Milan. This slicer is a variant of the Berkel model 5 The Italian version of the salami fixing arm is open in the direction of the flywheel to allow even larger products to be fixed more quickly. The Berkel flywheel slicer model 7 has a 15 position slice thickness adjustment fixed to the upper right part of the machine body. This slicer has evolved in Italy with the production of the Berkel model 10 and the Berkel model 12. The Berkel slicer Model 7 was originally painted in red, metallic gray black and ivory, while the metal parts were chromed. The sharpener for the blade, placed in the upper part of the shoulder, is the same one that is mounted in the Berkel model 5 and of the same shape, but different, from the one mounted in the Berkel model 8h.
